Though there have been multitudes of import and export clothing companies throughout history, as far as we know, there has never been one company that has focused primarily on the international export of upscale, hand-made costumes specifically for the 'drag' and 'burlesque' communities.
With over a decade of theatrical production work in New York City and over a decade of major event and theatrical production work throughout Europe, South America, the Middle East and Asia, Drag Addict founder Forrest Mallard has been able to put together for the first time, the best available fabrics from the Middle East and Asia and expert clothing textiles craftsmen from South East Asia.
Joining the team now as well are noted designers from the Fashion Industry, the Broadway Stage and the Underground Burlesque Community giving the world a taste, for the vary first time, of DRAG COUTURE!!
MISSION STATEMENT: To make extremely elegant, hand-crafted formal wear and larger than life, hand-crafted costumes readily accessible throughout North America and Europe at affordable prices.
While doing this we would like to support the countries in which these items are produced by compensating these skilled craftsmen with higher-than-average, fair-trade payments and to also support organizations in these countries working to improve the quality of life in these communities.
